Anders employees nominate the not-for-profit organizations they’re involved with and passionate about every year to be considered for the firm’s Charity of Choice. The votes have been tallied and we’re excited to announce the 2024 Anders Charity of Choice is Memory Care Home Solutions!
The Charity of Choice program, now in its 19th year, supports the nominated organization with a combination of volunteer efforts and fundraising events. This program is especially meaningful to Anders as every person in the firm, from interns to partners, is given the chance to nominate and vote for their Charity of Choice each December. The winner is announced at the all-firm meeting in January. In 2023, Anders raised over $33,000 for Missouri Veterans Endeavor (MOVE-STL), which provides housing, therapy, transportation, emergency assistance and more for veterans and their families experiencing homelessness.
About Memory Care Home Solutions
Memory Care Home Solutions (MCHS) provides support to people living with dementia and their care partners to help improve and extend quality time at home for all who require services. Through tools, education and resources, the organization helps to reduce caregiver stress and ensures their home environment is safe for their loved one living with memory loss. Julie Hiblovic, a partner in audit and assurance who serves as a board member and treasurer for MCHS, nominated the organization.
Annual Fundraising Events
While activities such as Queen of Hearts, shuffleboard tournaments, busy season games and volunteer activities are held throughout the year, the largest Anders fundraising event is our annual “Hoops for Hope” NCAA March Madness basketball pool, which draws participation from clients, colleagues, referral sources and friends of the firm from all over the country. We are looking forward to supporting MCHS through this fun event.
